The 11th International Congress of the Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control will be held in cultural and historical Jogjakarta, Indonesia on July 25th – 28th, 2024. We invite all of you to submit your abstract of paper on experimental, difficult case, rare disease, or research in the impact of COVID-19 on Infection Prevention and Control field. The abstract can be submitted before May 21st, 2024. Please follow the instruction for submitting the abstract below.
The accepted abstract will be announced before June 25th, 2024. The presenting author will be notified by email. Please note that the confirmation email will not be sent to co-author (s).
The committee will accept all abstract categories.
Each abstract will be reviewed by the peer reviewers. Abstract may be submitted as moderated posters or unmoderated posters.
Abstract must be written and presented in English. Careful typing and proofreading are essential. Updates and edits to submissions can be made as needed prior to the submission deadline.
The Objectives/ Methods/ Results/ Conclusions sections are limited to 350 words total, research theme of abstracts must be in Infection Prevention and Control fields, including basic research, translational research and/ or case reports/ series and maximum file size is 10 MB (JPG files are the only accepted format).
Resolution should be: 300 DPI for halftone images, 500 DPI for combination (image and table) art, 1,000 DPI for line arts (1,200 DPI if the image contains very fine line weights). Image resolution must be sufficient prior to submission, as the abstract software will not check this.
Titles must be in title-case, and may not include author, institutional and/or proprietary names.
Graphics must be cited in the abstract and include a title. Additionally, table columns and/or rows must be labeled in at least 8-point font. Graphics in sketches model need to be completed by a professional artist. Images must be the original, unpublished property of the author(s).
Type full family name and first name of all authors. It is advisable to check the correct spelling of the family and initials of each authors. Written permission must be obtained from the rights-holder in order to reuse any copyrighted material. Authors are not restricted by the number of abstracts submitted. However, no more than 8 authors per submission are allowed.
The following headings have already been for you and should not be entered in the text fields again: Introduction & Objectives, Materials & Methods, Results, and Conclusions. If you must use other abbreviations, you must explain it the first time it appears.
Do not include references, credit or grant support. Videos in abstract are not permitted. No more than two images may be uploaded. MULTIPLE PANEL FIGURES ARE NOT ALLOWED (i.e. a single figure with parts 1A, 1B, 1C).
Any human experimentation conducted as part of submitted abstract(s) must follow the protocol approved by the institutional or local committee on ethics in human investigations.
Abstract will be selected in moderated and non-moderated. The duration of moderated abstract can have maximum time 5 minutes (3 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for discussion).

Please ensure that you have read and understood the Abstract Submission Guideline prior to submitting your abstract. Submissions that do not meet the guidelines cannot be considered for review.
Participants must complete and submit the registration form as required. After the submission of the application is accepted, the participant then sends the payment receipt. Registration statement will be ignored after 14 days without payment. To get a registration form, contact the secretariat at +62 811 1662 664 or +62 811 1332 664. Make sure your internet connection is connected properly and sufficient to make the registration process. Online registration process, it is highly recommended to use Fire Fox, Safari, or Chrome. IE is not recommended. Complete all the fields in registration form, make sure there are no missing fields. Complete the field on the form of payment with the same data on the registration form. Make sure there are no missing columns. If complete, continue the registration process by pressing “Register” button. Next you will receive a message to confirm payment through the e-mail address you specify.
Those who have not registered in advance may register at onsite registration desk. Cash payment in Rupiah will be accepted during onsite registration. No refund will be made for onsite registration fees.
Upon receipt of the registration form and the appropriate fees of receipt and registration of the official confirmation will be sent. Please indicate the registration confirmation at the registration table to get the participant’s identity and symposium kit.

Due to high demand on the hotel room at the time of congress, the congress secretariat strongly recommends early reservations.
Hotel rooms at special congress rate are being held for the congress participants at the Alana Hotel and Convention Center Jogjakarta. Room rates are in Rupiah, per night and per room included breakfast for two persons. Reservations must be made through the congress secretariat to guarantee the indicated rate negotiates for the congress.
Hotel assignment will be made on a “FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS”.
